حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنَا حُيَيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّ أَبَا كَثِيرٍ مَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا ذَرٍّ الْغِفَارِيَّ صَاحِبَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ كَلِمَاتٌ مَنْ ذَكَرَهُنَّ مِائَةَ مَرَّةٍ دُبُرَ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ ثُمَّ لَوْ كَانَتْ خَطَايَاهُ مِثْلَ زَبَدِ الْبَحْرِ لَمَحَتْهُنَّ قَالَ أَبِي لَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ.

Hasan told us, Ibn Lahi'ah told us, Huyayy ibn Abd Allah told us, that Abu Kathir, freedman of Banu Hashim, told him, that he heard Abu Dharr al-Ghifari, companion of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), say: These are words — whoever mentions them a hundred times at the end of every prayer: "Allah is Greatest, Glory be to Allah, and Praise be to Allah, and there is no god but Allah alone with no partner, and there is no power and no strength except with Allah" — then even if his sins were like the foam of the sea, they would be wiped away. My father said: He did not attribute it directly to the Prophet.
