حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ الشَّحَّامُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مُسْلِمُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّهَا سَتَكُونُ فِتْنَةٌ الْمُضْطَجِعُ فِيهَا خَيْرٌ مِنْ الْجَالِسِ وَالْجَالِسُ خَيْرٌ مِنْ الْقَائِمِ وَالْقَائِمُ فِيهَا خَيْرٌ مِنْ الْمَاشِي وَالْمَاشِي خَيْرٌ مِنْ السَّاعِي قَالَ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَمَا تَأْمُرُنِي قَالَ مَنْ كَانَتْ لَهُ إِبِلٌ فَلْيَلْحَقْ بِإِبِلِهِ وَمَنْ كَانَتْ لَهُ غَنَمٌ فَلْيَلْحَقْ بِغَنَمِهِ وَمَنْ كَانَتْ لَهُ أَرْضٌ فَلْيَلْحَقْ بِأَرْضِهِ وَمَنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ شَيْءٌ فَلْيَعْمِدْ إِلَى سَيْفِهِ فَلْيَضْرِبْ بِحَدِّهِ صَخْرَةً ثُمَّ لِيَنْجُ إِنْ اسْتَطَاعَ النَّجَاةَ ثُمَّ لِيَنْجُ إِنْ اسْتَطَاعَ النَّجَاةَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Waki' narrated to us: 'Uthman al-Shahham narrated to us, saying: Muslim b. Abi Bakra narrated to me, from his father, who said: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "There will be a trial in which the one lying down is better than the one sitting, the one sitting better than the one standing, the one standing better than the one walking, and the one walking better than the one running toward it." He said: A man said: "O Messenger of God, what do you command me to do?" He said: "Whoever has camels, let him keep to his camels; whoever has sheep, let him keep to his sheep; whoever has land, let him keep to his land; and whoever has nothing, let him take up his sword and strike its edge against a rock, then let him try to save himself if he can, then let him try to save himself if he can."
