الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ali ibn Asim told us, Sulayman al-Taymi told us, from Abu al-'Ala' ibn al-Shikhkhir, from Samurah ibn Jundub, who said: While we were with the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, a bowl of tharid (bread sopped in broth) was brought. He said: He ate and the people ate, and they kept passing it around until near midday — one group would eat then get up, and another group would come and take turns at it. A man said to him: Was it being replenished with food? He said: Not from the earth — unless it was being replenished from the sky.
