حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذٌ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ مَطَرٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى أَنْ تُتَلَقَّى الْأَجْلَابُ حَتَّى تَبْلُغَ الْأَسْوَاقَ أَوْ يَبِيعَ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ.

Ali ibn Abdullah narrated to us, Mu'adh narrated to us, my father told me, from Matar, from al-Hasan, from Samura, that the Prophet of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade intercepting goods before they reach the markets, or that a townsman sell on behalf of a countryman.
