Yahya - that is, Ibn Adam - narrated to us: Ammar b. Ruzayq narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, from Yazid b. Abi Maryam, from al-Ash'ari, who said: "Ibn Abi Talib reminded us, while we were in Basra, of a prayer we used to perform with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him - he would say takbir when he prostrated and when he stood up - and I do not know whether we had forgotten it or abandoned it deliberately." Yunus narrated to us: Hammad - that is, Ibn Salama - narrated to us, from Yunus, Thabit, Humayd, and Habib, from al-Hasan, from Hittan b. Abdullah al-Raqashi, from Abu Musa al-Ash'ari: that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Before the Hour..." and he mentioned something similar to the hadith of Abd al-Samad, from Hammad, from Ali b. Zayd, except that he said: Abu Musa said: "By the One in whose hand is my soul, I find no way out for myself or for you, if it should overtake us, except that we come out of it as we entered it, having gained from it neither blood nor wealth."
