Abdullah b. Yazid narrated to us: Sa'id b. Abi Ayyub narrated to us, who said: I heard a man from Quraysh called Abu Abdullah, who used to sit with Ja'far b. Rabi'a, say: I heard Abu Burda al-Ash'ari narrate from his father, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "The gravest of sins in the sight of Allah, Mighty and Majestic, for a servant to meet Him with, after the major sins that He has forbidden, is that a man dies while owing a debt without leaving means for its repayment."
