حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَعْنِ بْنِ نَضْلَةَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو الْغِفَارِيُّ مَدِينِيٌّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي جَدِّي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْنٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ مَعْنِ بْنِ نَضْلَةَ عَنْ نَضْلَةَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو الْغِفَارِيِّ أَنَّهُ لَقِيَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمَرَّبَيْنَ فَهَجَمَ عَلَيْهِ شَوَائِلُ لَهُ فَسَقَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثُمَّ شَرِبَ فَضْلَةَ إِنَاءٍ فَامْتَلَأَ بِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنْ كُنْتُ لَأَشْرَبُ السَّبْعَةَ فَمَا أَمْتَلِئُ قَالَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ الْمُؤْمِنَ يَشْرَبُ فِي مِعًى وَاحِدٍ وَإِنَّ الْكَافِرَ يَشْرَبُ فِي سَبْعَةِ أَمْعَاءٍ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ali bin Abdullah told us: Muhammad bin Ma'n bin Muhammad bin Ma'n bin Nadlah bin Amr al-Ghifari, a man of Madinah, told me: My grandfather Muhammad bin Ma'n told me, from his father Ma'n bin Nadlah, from Nadlah bin Amr al-Ghifari, that he met the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, at Marrabayn, and his milking-ewes rushed upon him, so he gave the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, to drink, then he himself drank the remainder of a vessel and it filled him up. Then he said: O Messenger of Allah, I used to drink the equivalent of seven men's share and not be filled. He said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The believer drinks in one intestine, while the disbeliever drinks in seven intestines."
