Abu Asim told us, he said: Abdullah ibn Umayyah told us, he said: Muhammad ibn Huyayy told me, he said: Safwan ibn Ya'la told me, from his father, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "The sea is Hell." They said this to Ya'la, and he said, "Do you not see that Allah, Mighty and Sublime, says, 'A Fire whose walls surround them'?" He said, "No, by the One in whose hand is Ya'la's soul, I will never enter it until I am presented before Allah, Mighty and Sublime, and not a drop of it will touch me until I meet Allah, Mighty and Sublime."
