Abu Asim told us, Abdullah ibn Umayyah ibn Abi Uthman al-Qurashi told us, he said: Muhammad ibn Huyayy ibn Ya'la ibn Umayyah told us, from his father, who said: I saw Ya'la praying before the sun rose. A man said to him, or it was said to him, "You are a man among the Companions of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, yet you pray before the sun rises?" Ya'la said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say, "The sun rises between the two horns of a devil." Ya'la said to him, "For the sun to rise while you are engaged in the matter of Allah is better than for it to rise while you are heedless."
