حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ عَنْ الْمِنْهَالِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ يَعْلَى قَالَ مَا أَظُنُّ أَنَّ أَحَدًا مِنْ النَّاسِ رَأَى مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَّا دُونَ مَا رَأَيْتُ فَذَكَرَ أَمْرَ الصَّبِيِّ وَالنَّخْلَتَيْنِ وَأَمْرَ الْبَعِيرِ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَا لِبَعِيرِكَ يَشْكُوكَ زَعَمَ أَنَّكَ سَانِيهِ حَتَّى إِذَا كَبُرَ تُرِيدُ أَنْ تَنْحَرَهُ قَالَ صَدَقْتَ وَالَّذِي بَعَثَكَ بِالْحَقِّ نَبِيًّا قَدْ أَرَدْتُ ذَلِكَ وَالَّذِي بَعَثَكَ بِالْحَقِّ لَا أَفْعَلُ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Aswad ibn Amir told us, Abu Bakr ibn Ayyash told us, from Habib ibn Abi Amrah, from al-Minhal ibn Amr, from Ya'la, who said: I do not think that any of the people saw from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, anything but less than what I saw. Then he mentioned the matter of the boy, and the two palm trees, and the matter of the camel — except that he said: "What is wrong with your camel, that it complains of you? It claims that you use it to draw water, until, when it grows old, you intend to slaughter it." He said, "You have spoken the truth, by the One who sent you with the truth as a Prophet, I had indeed intended that — but by the One who sent you with the truth, I will not do it."
