Musa ibn Dawud told us, saying: Ibn Lahi'ah told us, from Yazid ibn Abi Habib, from Muhammad ibn Yazid, that Abdullah ibn Awf told him that Abu Jumu'ah Habib ibn Siba' — who had lived to see the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him — that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, in the year of the Confederates (al-Ahzab), prayed the sunset prayer, and when he finished he said: "Did any of you know that I had (already) prayed the afternoon prayer?" They said: "O Messenger of Allah, you had not prayed it." So he ordered the caller to prayer, who gave the call to prayer, and he prayed the afternoon prayer, then repeated the sunset prayer.
