حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ النَّاقِدُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ قَصَّرْتُ عَنْ رَأْسِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عِنْدَ الْمَرْوَةِ.

'Abdullah narrated to us: 'Amr ibn Muhammad al-Naqid narrated to us, saying: Abu Ahmad al-Zubayri narrated to us: Sufyan narrated to us, from Ja'far ibn Muhammad from his father from Ibn 'Abbas from Mu'awiya, who said: 'I shortened the hair of the head of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, at al-Marwa.'
