قَالَ عَبْد اللَّهِ وَجَدْتُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ فِي كِتَابِ أَبِي بِخَطِّ يَدِهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ وَهُوَ البُرْسَانِيُّ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ يَحْيَى أَنَّ عِيسَى بْنَ عُمَرَ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ وَقَّاصٍ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ وَقَّاصٍ قَالَ إِنِّي لَعِنْدَ مُعَاوِيَةَ إِذْ أَذَّنَ مُؤَذِّنُهُ فَقَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ كَمَا قَالَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ حَتَّى إِذَا قَالَ حَيَّ عَلَى الصَّلَاةِ قَالَ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ فَلَمَّا قَالَ حَيَّ عَلَى الْفَلَاحِ قَالَ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ وَقَالَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ مَا قَالَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ ثُمَّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ ذَلِكَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abdullah said: I found this hadith in my father's book, in his own handwriting: Muhammad ibn Bakr, who is al-Bursani, told us, he said: Ibn Jurayj informed us, he said: Amr ibn Yahya told me that Isa ibn Umar informed him, from Abdullah ibn Alqamah ibn Waqqas, from Alqamah ibn Waqqas, who said: I was with Mu'awiyah when his caller gave the call to prayer, and Mu'awiyah repeated what the caller said, until, when he said, Come to prayer, he said, There is no power and no strength except by Allah; and when he said, Come to success, he said, There is no power and no strength except by Allah; and afterward he said what the caller said. Then he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say the same.
