حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا الْعَوَّامُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ عَنْ يُسَيْرِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَلِيَّةُ قَوْمٍ قِبَلَ الْمَشْرِقِ مُحَلَّقَةٌ رُءُوسُهُمْ وَسُئِلَ عَنْ الْمَدِينَةِ فَقَالَ حَرَامٌ آمِنٌ حَرَامٌ آمِنٌ.

Yazid b. Harun narrated to us: al-Awwam informed us: Abu Ishaq al-Shaybani narrated to me, from Yusayr b. Amr, from Sahl b. Hunayf, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "The affliction of a people shall come from the East, their heads shaven." And he was asked about Madinah, and he said, "Sacred, secure; sacred, secure."
