قَالَ وَأُتِيَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِرَجُلٍ فَقَالُوا هَذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَقْتُلَكَ فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمْ تُرَعْ لَمْ تُرَعْ وَلَوْ أَرَدْتَ ذَلِكَ لَمْ يُسَلِّطْكَ اللَّهُ عَلَيَّ.

He said: And a man was brought to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and they said: This one wanted to kill you. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said to him: Do not be afraid, do not be afraid; had you intended that, God would not have given you power over me.
