حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ شِهَابٍ أَنَّ الْحُسَيْنَ بْنَ السَّائِبِ بْنِ أَبِي لُبَابَةَ أَخْبَرَ أَنَّ أَبَا لُبَابَةَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الْمُنْذِرِ لَمَّا تَابَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ مِنْ تَوْبَتِي أَنْ أَهْجُرَ دَارَ قَوْمِي وَأُسَاكِنَكَ وَإِنِّي أَنْخَلِعُ مِنْ مَالِي صَدَقَةً لِلَّهِ وَلِرَسُولِهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُجْزِئُ عَنْكَ الثُّلُثُ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Rawh told us, saying: Ibn Jurayj told us, saying: Ibn Shihab informed me that al-Husayn ibn al-Sa'ib ibn Abi Lubabah informed him that Abu Lubabah ibn Abd al-Mundhir, when Allah accepted his repentance, said: "O Messenger of Allah, part of my repentance is that I abandon the house of my people and dwell with you, and that I give up my property as charity for Allah and His Messenger." The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "A third of it will suffice for you."
