الترجمة الإنجليزية
Muhammad ibn Abi Adiyy told us, from Humayd, from a man from the people of Makkah called Yusuf, who said: I and a man of Quraysh were guardians over orphans' wealth. He said: A man had taken a thousand dirhams from me, and then a thousand dirhams belonging to that man came into my possession. I said to the Qurashi: "He took a thousand dirhams from me, and I have obtained a thousand dirhams of his." The Qurashi said: "My father told me that he heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: 'Render the trust to the one who entrusted you, and do not betray the one who has betrayed you.'"
