Yazid told us: Ibn Abi Dhi'b informed us, from Muslim ibn Jundab, from Hakim ibn Hizam, who said: I asked the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, for wealth and pressed him insistently, so he said, "O Hakim, how persistent is your asking! O Hakim, this wealth is sweet and green, but along with that it is the dirt from people's hands; and the hand of Allah is above the hand of the giver, and the hand of the giver is above the hand of the recipient, and the lowest of the hands is the hand of the recipient."
