حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَغْلِقُوا الْأَبْوَابَ وَأَوْكِئُوا الْأَسْقِيَةَ وَخَمِّرُوا الْآنِيَةَ وَأَطْفِئُوا السُّرُجَ فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لَا يَفْتَحُ غَلَقًا وَلَا يَحُلُّ وِكَاءً وَلَا يَكْشِفُ إِنَاءً وَإِنَّ الْفُوَيْسِقَةَ تُضْرِمُ عَلَى أَهْلِ الْبَيْتِ وَلَا تُرْسِلُوا فَوَاشِيَكُمْ وَصِبْيَانَكُمْ إِذَا غَابَتْ الشَّمْسُ حَتَّى تَذْهَبَ فَحْمَةُ الْعِشَاءِ فَإِنَّ الشَّيَاطِينَ تُبْعَثُ إِذَا غَابَتْ الشَّمْسُ حَتَّى تَذْهَبَ فَحْمَةُ الْعِشَاءِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Musa ibn Dawud told us, Zuhayr told us, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Close the doors, tie up the water-skins, cover the vessels, and put out the lamps, for the devil does not open a closed door, nor untie a tied water-skin, nor uncover a covered vessel; and the mischief-making mouse may set fire upon the people of the house. And do not let your grazing animals and your children roam freely once the sun has set, until the first darkness of night has passed, for the devils are let loose when the sun sets until the first darkness of night has passed."
