حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا سَلِيمُ بْنُ حَيَّانَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ قَدْ خَالَفَ بَيْنَ طَرَفَيْهِ.

Affan told us, Salim ibn Hayyan told us, Hammad told us, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir ibn Abdullah, who said: I saw the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, praying in a single garment, having crossed its two ends over his shoulders.
