حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ قَالَ قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَزْعُمُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ الصُّوَرِ فِي الْبَيْتِ وَنَهَى الرَّجُلَ أَنْ يَصْنَعَ ذَلِكَ.

Hajjaj told us, he said Ibn Jurayj said: Abu al-Zubayr informed me, that he heard Jabir ibn Abdullah claim that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade images in the house, and forbade a man from making such things.
