حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَسْلَمَ جَاءَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَاعْتَرَفَ بِالزِّنَا فَأَعْرَضَ عَنْهُ ثُمَّ اعْتَرَفَ فَأَعْرَضَ عَنْهُ حَتَّى شَهِدَ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ أَرْبَعَ مَرَّاتٍ فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَبِكَ جُنُونٌ قَالَ لَا قَالَ أَحْصَنْتَ قَالَ نَعَمْ فَأَمَرَ بِهِ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَرُجِمَ بِالْمُصَلَّى فَلَمَّا أَذْلَقَتْهُ الْحِجَارَةُ فَرَّ فَأُدْرِكَ فَرُجِمَ حَتَّى مَاتَ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَيْرًا وَلَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَيْهِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abd al-Razzaq told us: Ma'mar informed us, from al-Zuhri, from Abu Salamah, from Jabir, that a man of Aslam came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and confessed to fornication. He turned away from him; then he confessed again and he turned away from him, until he testified against himself four times. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said to him: "Are you insane?" He said: "No." He said: "Are you married?" He said: "Yes." So the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, ordered that he be stoned at the place of prayer. When the stones caused him pain, he fled, but he was caught and stoned until he died. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, spoke well of him but did not pray the funeral prayer over him.
