Abdullah ibn Bakr told us, Humayd told us, from Anas, who said: We never wished to see the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, praying but that we saw him so, nor sleeping but that we saw him so. He said: And he used to fast during part of the month until we would say he did not intend to break his fast at all, then he would break his fast during part of the month until we would say he did not intend to fast at all.
