حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ مَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي نَمِرٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ مَا صَلَّيْتُ وَرَاءَ إِمَامٍ قَطُّ أَخَفَّ صَلَاةً مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلَا أَتَمَّ وَإِنْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيَسْمَعُ بُكَاءَ الصَّبِيِّ وَرَاءَهُ فَيُخَفِّفُ مَخَافَةَ أَنْ يَشُقَّ عَلَى أُمِّهِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Sa'id, the freedman of Banu Hashim, told us: Sulayman ibn Bilal told us: Sharik - that is, Ibn Abi Namir - told us, from Anas ibn Malik, who said: 'I never prayed behind any imam lighter in prayer than the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, yet none more complete. If the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, heard the crying of a child behind him, he would shorten the prayer for fear of causing hardship to its mother.'
