حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ وَشَهِدْتُهُ عَلَيْهِ الصَّلَاة وَالسَّلَامُ يَوْمَ دَخَلَ عَلَيْنَا الْمَدِينَةَ فَلَمْ أَرَ يَوْمًا أَضْوَأَ مِنْهُ وَلَا أَحْسَنَ مِنْهُ وَشَهِدْتُهُ يَوْمَ مَاتَ فَلَمْ أَرَ يَوْمًا أَقْبَحَ مِنْهُ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Abu Salama told us: Hammad ibn Salama informed us, from Thabit, from Anas, who said: And I witnessed him, peace and blessings be upon him, on the day he entered Medina among us, and I never saw a day more radiant or more beautiful than it; and I witnessed him on the day he died, and I never saw a day more hideous than it.
