حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي زِيَادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعْدٍ أَنَّ ابْنَ شِهَابٍ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ أخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ رَأَى فِي يَدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَاتَمًا مِنْ وَرِقٍ يَوْمًا وَاحِدًا ثُمَّ إِنَّ النَّاسَ اضْطَرَبُوا الْخَوَاتِيمَ مِنْ وَرِقٍ وَلَبِسُوهَا فَطَرَحَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَاتَمَهُ فَطَرَحَ النَّاسُ خَوَاتِيمَهُمْ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Rawh told us, Ibn Jurayj and Abdullah ibn al-Harith told us, from Ibn Jurayj, who said: Ziyad — that is, Ibn Sa'd — informed me that Ibn Shihab informed him that Anas ibn Malik informed him that he saw a silver ring on the hand of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, for one day. Then the people took to making rings of silver and wearing them, so the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, cast off his ring, and the people cast off their rings.
