حَدَّثَنَا سَهْلُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ يَعْنِي الْمِسْمَعِيَّ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ وَيَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدٌ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ قَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمَدِينَةَ وَلِأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ يَوْمَانِ يَلْعَبُونَ فِيهِمَا فَقَالَ قَدِمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَلَكُمْ يَوْمَانِ تَلْعَبُونَ فِيهِمَا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ أَبْدَلَكُمْ يَوْمَيْنِ خَيْرًا مِنْهُمَا يَوْمَ الْفِطْرِ وَيَوْمَ النَّحْرِ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Sahl ibn Yusuf, that is al-Mismai, told us, from Humayd; and Yazid ibn Harun informed us: Humayd informed us, from Anas, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, came to Medina, and the people of Medina had two days on which they used to play. He said, "I have come to you, and you have two days on which you play, but Allah has replaced them for you with two days better than them: the day of the Fitr and the day of the Sacrifice."
