Affan narrated to us: Shu'bah narrated to us, he said: Abd al-Malik ibn Umayr informed me, he said: I asked Qaza'ah, the freedman of Ziyad, he said: I heard Abu Sa'id al-Khudri say: "Four things I heard from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, that pleased me and delighted me." He said: "A woman should not travel a two days' or two nights' journey except with her husband or a mahram (unmarriageable relative)."
