حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنِّي قَدْ تَرَكْتُ فِيكُمْ الثَّقَلَيْنِ أَحَدُهُمَا أَكْبَرُ مِنْ الْآخَرِ كِتَابُ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ حَبْلٌ مَمْدُودٌ مِنْ السَّمَاءِ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ وَعِتْرَتِي أَهْلُ بَيْتِي أَلَا إِنَّهُمَا لَنْ يَفْتَرِقَا حَتَّى يَرِدَا عَلَيَّ الْحَوْضَ.
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Ibn Numayr told us: 'Abd al-Malik — meaning Ibn Abi Sulayman — told us, from 'Atiyyah, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, who said: The Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I have indeed left among you the two weighty things, one of them greater than the other: the Book of God, Mighty and Majestic — a rope stretched from the sky to the earth — and my progeny, the people of my household. Indeed, the two will never separate until they meet me at the Pool."
