حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدٌ الْمَقْبُرِيُّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقُولُ يَا نِسَاءَ الْمُسْلِمَاتِ لَا تَحْقِرَنَّ جَارَةٌ لِجَارَتِهَا وَلَوْ فِرْسِنَ شَاةٍ.

Hajjaj told us: Layth told us: Sa'id al-Maqburi told me, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to say: "O Muslim women, let no neighbor woman belittle a gift from her neighbor, even if it is only the trotter of a sheep."
