886/1155(حسن لغيره)عن سعيد بن المسيب؛ أنه سمع أبا هريرة يصف رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" كان رَبعةً(1)وهو إلى الطول أقرب، شديد البياض، أسود شعر اللحية، حسن الثغر(2)، أهدب(3)أشفار العينين، بعيد ما بين المنكبين، مفاض الجبين(4)يطأ بقدمه جميعاً، ليس لها أخمص، يُقبل جميعاً ويدبر جميعاً، لم أر مثله قبل ولا بعد".
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Sa'id al-Maqburi heard Abu Hurayrah describe the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him): 'He was of medium height, closer to tall. Very fair-skinned, with a black beard. He had a beautiful smile, with long eyelashes, broad shoulders, and a wide forehead. He walked with his entire foot [flat on the ground] — with no arch. He would turn completely [with his whole body]. I have never seen anyone like him, before or after.'
