حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الثَّقَفِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ الْعَسْقَلاَنِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ رُكَانَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ رُكَانَةَ، صَارَعَ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَصَرَعَهُ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ رُكَانَةُ وَسَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " فَرْقُ مَا بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ الْعَمَائِمُ عَلَى الْقَلاَنِسِ " .
الترجمة الإنجليزية
Muhammad ibn Ali ibn Rukanah (upon him be mercy) narrates from his father that Hadrat Rukanah (may Allah be well pleased with him) wrestled with the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), and the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) threw him to the ground. Hadrat Rukanah (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) say: The distinction between us and the polytheists is that we wear turbans over our caps.
الترجمة الأردية
محمد بن علی بن رکانہ رحمۃ اللہ علیہ اپنے والد سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ حضرت رکانہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے کشتی لڑی تو آپ نے حضرت رکانہ کو پچھاڑ دیا۔ حضرت رکانہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو ارشاد فرماتے سنا: ہمارے اور مشرکین کے درمیان فرق ٹوپیوں پر عمامے باندھنے کا ہے۔
