It is narrated by Hadrat Ishaq (upon him be peace) bin 'Abdullah bin Abi Hadrat Talhah that he heard Hadrat Anas [bin Malik] saying: "The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) used to visit Umm Haram bint Milhan, who would offer him meals. Umm Haram was the wife of Hadrat 'Ubadah bin As-Samit. Once the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) visited her and she provide him with some food and started inspecting this head for lice. Then the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) slept and afterwards he awoke smiling. She said: 'I said: "What causes you to smile, O the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) ?" He said: "Some of my followers who were displayed before me )in a dream) as fighters in Allah's cause, riding on a ship this ocean who were kings upon thrones, or like kings upon thrones." I submitted: "O Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)! Supplicate to Allah to make me among them.'" So he supplicated for her. Then he lay down his head to sleep. Then he woke up and he was smiling. She said: 'So I said to him: "What causes you to smile, O the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)?" He said: "Some of my followers who were displayed before me (in a dream) as fighters in Allah's cause," and he said similar to what he said earlier. She said: 'I submitted: "O Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)! Supplicate to Allah to make me among them." He said: "You are the earlier ones.'" He said: "So Umm Haram rode on the sea during the time of Hadrat Mu'awiyah bin Abu Sufyan. She was thrown from the riding animal after she arrived from the ocean voyage, and she died." [Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih. Umm Haram bint Milhan is the daughter of Hadrat Umm Sulaim, the maternal aunt of Hadrat Anas bin Malik
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ام حرام بنت ملحان کے گھر جب بھی جاتے، وہ آپ کو کھانا کھلاتیں، ام حرام رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا عبادہ بن صامت رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کے عقد میں تھیں، ایک دن رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ان کے پاس گئے تو انہوں نے آپ کو کھانا کھلایا اور آپ کے سر میں جوئیں دیکھنے بیٹھ گئیں، آپ سو گئے، پھر آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم بیدار ہوئے تو ہنس رہے تھے، ام حرام رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا فرماتی ہیں: میں نے پوچھا: اللہ کے رسول! آپ کو کیا چیز ہنسا رہی ہے؟ آپ نے ( جواب میں ) فرمایا: ”میرے سامنے میری امت کے کچھ مجاہدین پیش کئے گئے، وہ اس سمندر کے سینہ پر سوار تھے، تختوں پر بیٹھے ہوئے بادشاہ لگتے تھے“۔ راوی کو شک ہے کہ آپ نے «ملوك على الأسرة» کہا، یا «مثل الملوك على الأسرة» میں نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! اللہ سے دعا کر دیجئیے کہ اللہ مجھے بھی ان لوگوں میں کر دے، چنانچہ آپ نے ان کے لیے دعا فرمائی، آپ پھر اپنا سر رکھ کر سو گئے، پھر ہنستے ہوئے بیدار ہوئے، میں نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! آپ کو کیا چیز ہنسا رہی ہے؟ فرمایا: ”میرے سامنے میری امت کے کچھ لوگ اللہ کے راستے میں جہاد کرتے ہوئے پیش کئے گئے“، آپ نے اسی طرح فرمایا جیسے اس سے پہلے فرمایا تھا، میں نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! اللہ سے دعا کر دیجئیے کہ مجھے ان لوگوں میں کر دے، آپ نے فرمایا: ”تم ( سمندر میں ) پہلے ( جہاد کرنے ) والے لوگوں میں سے ہو“۔ انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں: حضرت معاویہ بن ابی سفیان رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما کے زمانہ میں ام حرام رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سمندری سفر پر ( ایک جہاد میں ) نکلیں تو وہ سمندر سے نکلتے وقت اپنی سواری سے گر گئیں اور ہلاک ہو گئیں۔ امام ترمذی فرماتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- ام حرام بنت ملحان، ام سلیم کی بہن اور حضرت انس بن مالک کی خالہ ہیں، ( اور نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے ننہال میں سے قریبی رشتہ دار تھیں ) ۔
