حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْخَيْلُ مَعْقُودٌ فِي نَوَاصِيهَا الْخَيْرُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ الْخَيْلُ لِثَلَاثَةٍ هِيَ لِرَجُلٍ أَجْرٌ وَهِيَ لِرَجُلٍ سِتْرٌ وَهِيَ عَلَى رَجُلٍ وِزْرٌ فَأَمَّا الَّذِي لَهُ أَجْرٌ فَالَّذِي يَتَّخِذُهَا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَيُعِدُّهَا لَهُ هِيَ لَهُ أَجْرٌ لَا يَغِيبُ فِي بُطُونِهَا شَيْءٌ إِلَّا كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَهُ أَجْرًا وَفِي الْحَدِيثِ قِصَّةٌ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ وَقَدْ رَوَى مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْوَ هَذَا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: 'Goodness is tied to the forelocks of horses until the Day of Resurrection. Horses are for three purposes: for one man they are a reward, for another they are a covering, and for yet another they are a burden. As for the one for whom they are a reward, he is the one who keeps them in the cause of Allah and prepares them for it -- for him they are a reward, and nothing enters their stomachs except that Allah writes a reward for him.' And the hadith contains a story. Abu Isa said: This is a Hasan Sahih Hadith. Malik bin Anas also narrated from Hadrat Zaid bin Aslam from Abu Salih from Hadrat Abu Hurairah from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) something similar.
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت ابوثعلبہ خشنی رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے مجوس کی ہانڈیوں کے بارے میں سوال کیا گیا ۱؎ تو آپ نے فرمایا: ”ان کو دھو کر صاف کر لو اور ان میں پکاؤ، اور آپ نے ہر درندے اور کچلی والے جانور کو کھانے سے منع فرمایا ”۔ امام ترمذی فرماتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث ابوثعلبہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے دوسری سندوں سے بھی آئی ہے، ۲- ابوادریس خولانی نے بھی اس کو ابوثعلبہ سے روایت کیا ہے، لیکن ابوقلابہ کا سماع ابوثعلبہ سے ثابت نہیں ہے، انہوں نے ابواسماء کے واسطے سے ابوثعلبہ سے اس کی روایت کی ہے۔
