Ishaq ibn Ibrahim narrated from Abd al-Razzaq, from Abu Hanifah, from Hammad, from Ibrahim, from Alqamah who said: Ibn Mas'ud was asked about coitus interruptus (al-'azl) and he said: 'If Allah has taken a covenant for a soul in a man's loins, then even if he spilled it on a rock, Allah would bring it forth from that rock. So if you wish, complete (the act), and if you wish, practice withdrawal.'
