Ali ibn Abd al-Aziz narrated to us, from Hajjaj ibn al-Minhal, from Hammad, from Hammad, from Ibrahim that Umar and Ibn Mas'ud said regarding 'your affair is in your hand': 'If she chooses herself, it counts as one divorce and he has more right to her. If she chooses her husband, it counts for nothing.'
