Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:9549 حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أنا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ هُبَيْرَةَ بْنِ يَرِيمَ عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ «مَنْ فَاتَتْهُ الرَّكْعَةُ الْأُخْرَى فَلْيُصَلِّ أَرْبَعًا» قَالَ مَعْمَرٌ قَالَ قَتَادَةُ يُصَلِّي أَرْبَعًا فَقِيلَ لِقَتَادَةَ إِنَّ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ جَاءَ وَهُمْ جُلُوسٌ فِي آخِرِ الصَّلَاةِ فَقَالَ لِأَصْحَابِهِ «اجْلِسُوا أَدْرَكْتُمْ إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ» قَالَ قَتَادَةُ إِنَّمَا يَقُولُ «أَدْرَكْتُمُ الْأَجْرَ»
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ibn Mas'ud said: 'Whoever misses the last rak'ah should pray four.' Qatadah said he should pray four. When it was said to Qatadah that Ibn Mas'ud came while they were sitting in the last part of the prayer and said to his companions: 'Sit down, you have caught it, if Allah wills,' Qatadah said: 'He only meant you have caught the reward.'
