Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:9541 حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ أنا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ أُبَيَّ بْنَ كَعْبٍ وَنَبِيُّ اللهِ ﷺ يَخْطُبُ عَنْ آيَةٍ مِنْ كِتَابِ اللهِ فَأَعْرَضَ عَنْهُ وَلَمْ يَرُدَّ عَلَيْهِ فَلَمَّا قَضَى صَلَاتَهُ قَالَ إِنَّكَ لَمْ تُجَمِّعْ فَسَأَلَ ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «صَدَقَ أُبَيٌّ»
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ibn Mas'ud asked Ubayy ibn Ka'b about a verse from the Book of Allah while the Prophet (peace be upon him) was giving a sermon. Ubayy turned away from him and did not answer. When the prayer was finished, Ubayy said: 'You have not fulfilled your Friday.' Then Ibn Mas'ud asked the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), and he said: 'Ubayy spoke the truth.'
