Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:9511 حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ جَامِعِ بْنِ أَبِي رَاشِدٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا وَائِلٍ يَقُولُ قَالَ حُذَيْفَةُ لِعَبْدِ اللهِ قَوْمٌ عُكُوفٌ بَيْنَ دَارِكَ وَدَارِ أَبِي مُوسَى أَلَا تَنْهَاهُمْ؟ فَقَالَ لَهُ عَبْدُ اللهِ «فَلَعَلَّهُمْ أَصَابُوا وَأَخْطَأْتَ وَحَفِظُوا وَنَسِيتَ» فَقَالَ حُذَيْفَةُ لَا اعْتِكَافَ إِلَّا فِي هَذِهِ الْمَسَاجِدِ الثَّلَاثَةِ مَسْجِدِ الْمَدِينَةِ وَمَسْجِدِ مَكَّةَ وَمَسْجِدِ إِيلِيَا
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hudhayfah said to Abdullah: 'People are secluded between your house and the house of Abu Musa - will you not forbid them?' Abdullah said: 'Perhaps they are right and you are wrong, and they remembered and you forgot.' Hudhayfah said: 'There is no i'tikaf except in these three mosques: the Mosque of Madinah, the Mosque of Makkah, and the Mosque of Iliya (Jerusalem).'
