Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:8911 حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ مَعْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ النَّاسُ غَادِيَانِ بَايِعٌ نَفْسَهُ فَمُوبِقُهَا وَمُفَادِيهَا فَمُعْتِقُهَا الصَّدَقَةُ بُرْهَانٌ وَالصِّيَامُ جُنَّةٌ وَالصَّلَاةُ نُورٌ وَالسَّكِينَةُ مَغْنَمٌ وَتَرْكُهَا مَغْرَمٌ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abdullah ibn Mas'ud said: 'People are of two types in the morning: one who sells his soul and ruins it, and one who ransoms it and frees it. Charity is a proof, fasting is a shield, prayer is a light, tranquility is a gain, and abandoning it is a loss.'
