Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:856 حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ الرَّجَائِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ الْبَحْرَانِيُّ ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ مُجَمِّعٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ أَخْبَرَنِي جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ الضَّمْرِيُّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ «أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللهِ ﷺ بَعَثَهُ عَيْنًا إِلَى قُرَيْشٍ فَجِئْتُ إِلَى خَشَبَةِ خُبَيْبٍ وَأَنَا أَتَخَوَّفُ الْعُيُونَ فَرَقِيتُ فِيهَا فَحَلَلْتُ فَوَقَعَ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ فَأَسْنَدْتُ غَيْرَ بَعِيدٍ ثُمَّ الْتَفَتُّ فَلَمْ أَ��َ خَشَبَةَ خُبَيْبٍ وَكَأَنَّمَا ابْتَلَعَتْهُ الْأَرْضُ فَلَمْ يُذْكَرْ لِخُبَيْبٍ أَثَرٌ حَتَّى السَّاعَةِ»
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ja'far ibn 'Amr ibn Umayyah al-Damri narrated from his father, from his grandfather, that the Prophet of Allah (peace be upon him) sent him as a spy to the Quraysh. He said: "I came to the wood on which Khubayb was crucified, and I was wary of the watchmen. I climbed up and unfastened him, and he fell to the ground. I leaned away briefly, then looked back and did not see the wood of Khubayb — as though the earth had swallowed it. No trace of Khubayb was found until this very hour."
