Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:6388 حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْعَطَّارُ الْبَصْرِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي الشَّوَارِبِ ثنا سَالِمٌ أَبُو جُمَيْعٍ ثنا رَاشِدٌ أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ الْحِمَّانِيُّ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ عَنْ أَبِي تَمِيمَةَ الْهُجَيْمِيِّ عَنْ سُلَيْمِ بْنِ جَابِرٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ بِالنَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَدَعَوْتُ بِرَاحِلَتِي فَقُلْتُ لَآتِيَنَّ هَذَا الرَّجُلَ فَلَأَسْمَعَنَّ مِنْهُ فَأَتَيْتُهُ فَوَجَدْتُهُ قَاعِدًا مُحْتَبِيًا فِي بُرْدَةٍ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَرُدُّ عَلَى السَّائِلِ «لَا تَحْقِرَنَّ مِنَ الْمَعْرُوفِ شَيْئًا وَلَوْ أَنْ تَصُبَّ مِنْ فَضْلِ دَلْوِكِ فِي إِنَاءِ الْمُسْتَسْقِي وَإِيَّاكَ وَإِسْبَالَ الْإِزَارِ فَإِنَّهَا مِنَ الْمَخِيلَةِ وَإِنَّ اللهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْمَخِيلَةَ وَإِنِ امْرُؤٌ شَتَمَكَ أَوْ قَالَ مَا لَيْسَ فِيكَ فَلَا تَشْتُمْهُ وَلَا تَقُلْ لَهُ مَا لَيْسَ فِيهِ فَيَكُونَ لَكَ أَجْرُهُ وَعَلَيْهِ وَبَالُهُ لَا تَسُبَّنَّ أَحَدًا» فَمَا سَبَبْتُ شَيْئًا بَعِيرًا وَلَا شَاةً وَلَا إِنْسَانًا مُنْذُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ السَّبِّ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Sulaym ibn Jabir said: "I heard about the Prophet (peace be upon him), so I called for my riding animal and said: 'I will certainly go to this man and listen to him.' I came to him and found him sitting wrapped in a cloak. I heard him answering a questioner: 'Do not belittle any act of kindness, even pouring from the surplus of your bucket into the vessel of one asking for water. Beware of letting your garment hang, for it is arrogance, and Allah does not love arrogance. If a man curses you or says what is not in you, do not curse him or say what is not in him — the reward will be yours and the burden his. Do not curse anyone.' He said: 'I never cursed anything — neither camel, nor sheep, nor person — since I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) forbid cursing.'"
