حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الضَّبِّيُّ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ أنا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ زِرٍّ قَالَ «كُنْتُ بِالْمَدِينَةِ فَإِذَا رَجُلٌ آدَمُ أَعْسَرُ أَيْسَرُ ضَخْمٌ إِذْ أَشْرَفَ عَلَى النَّاسِ كَأَنَّهُ عَلَى دَابَّةٍ فَإِذَا هُوَ عُمَرُ ؓ» «كُنْتُ بِالْمَدِينَةِ فَإِذَا رَجُلٌ آدَمُ أَعْسَرُ أَيْسَرُ ضَخْمٌ إِذْ أَشْرَفَ عَلَى النَّاسِ كَأَنَّهُ عَلَى دَابَّةٍ فَإِذَا هُوَ عُمَرُ ؓ»
انگریزی ترجمہ
I was in Madinah, and there was a dark-complexioned man, ambidextrous, large in build. When he stood above the people, it was as if he were on a riding animal. And it was Umar.
