Sahl ibn Sa'd narrated that a man peeked through a hole in the door of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) while the Messenger of Allah was scratching his head with a comb. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "If I had known you were watching me, I would have thrust it into your eye. Seeking permission was only ordained because of the gaze."
