Rabi'ah ibn 'Ibad al-Dayli said: I saw the Prophet (peace be upon him) at Mina going among the camps of the people saying: "O people, say 'There is no god but Allah' and you will succeed." Among the people were those who accepted and those who threw dirt in his face. A man behind him would say: "Do not obey him, for he is a liar." I asked about this man, and they said: "He is his uncle Abu Lahab."
