Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:4197 حَدَّثَنَا مُطَّلِبُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْخَيْرِ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ الْكَلْبِيِّ أَنَّ دِحْيَةَ بْنَ خَلِيفَةَ خَرَجَ مِنْ قَرْيَتِهِ بِدِمَشْقَ الْمَزَّةِ إِلَى قَدْرِ قَرْيَةِ عُقْبَةَ فِي رَمَضَانَ ثُمَّ أَفْطَرَ وَأَفْطَرَ مَعَهُ النَّاسُ وَكَرِهَ آخَرُونَ أَنْ يُفْطِرُوا فَلَمَّا رَجَعَ إِلَى قَرْيَتِهِ قَالَ «وَاللهِ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ الْيَوْمَ أَمْرًا مَا كُنْتُ أَظُنُّنِي أَرَاهُ إِنَّ قَوْمًا رَغِبُوا عَنْ هَدْيِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَصْحَابِهِ» يَقُولُ ذَلِكَ لِلَّذِينَ صَامُوا ثُمَّ قَالَ عِنْدَ ذَلِكَ «اللهُمَّ اقْبِضْنِي إِلَيْكَ»
انگریزی ترجمہ
Dihyah ibn Khalifah went out from his village near Damascus — al-Mazzah — to the distance of the village of 'Uqbah during Ramadan, then he broke his fast, and the people broke their fast with him. Others disliked breaking their fast. When he returned to his village, he said: "By Allah, today I have seen something I never thought I would see — people who have turned away from the practice of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and his Companions" — saying that about those who continued fasting. Then he said: "O Allah, take me to You."
