Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:3967 حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَاسِرٍ ثنا قَطَنُ إِبْرَاهِيمُ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ ثنا حَفْصُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ طَهْمَانَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي حَفْصَةَ عَنْ أَبِي حَفْصَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ الزُّهْرِيُّ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «الْوِتْرُ حَقٌّ فَمَنْ شَاءَ أَوْتَرَ بِخَمْسٍ وَمَنْ شَاءَ أَوْتَرَ بِثَلَاثٍ وَمَنْ شَاءَ أَوْتَرَ بِوَاحِدَةٍ وَمَنْ غُلِبَ فَلْيُومِئْ إِيمَاءً»
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Ayyub reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "The Witr prayer is a duty, so whoever wishes may pray Witr with five rak'ahs, whoever wishes may pray Witr with three rak'ahs, whoever wishes may pray Witr with one rak'ah, and whoever is overwhelmed [by sleep], let him indicate it by gesturing."
