Abu Ayyub narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) came out to them and said: "My Lord, the Almighty, gave me a choice between seventy thousand entering Paradise without reckoning and a handful from Him." A man said to him: O Messenger of Allah, will your Lord give you a handful? The Messenger of Allah entered, then came out to them glorifying Allah (saying Allahu Akbar) and said: "My Lord has added to it: with every thousand, seventy thousand more, and the handful from Him." Abu Ruhm said: O Abu Ayyub, what do you think the handful of Allah is? The people rebuked him. Abu Ayyub said: Leave your companion alone. I will tell you about the handful of the Prophet (peace be upon him) as I believe - rather, as I am nearly certain: the handful of the Prophet is that he will say: "O Lord, whoever testifies that there is no god but You alone with no partner, and that Muhammad is Your servant and messenger, and then his heart confirms what his tongue says, Paradise is guaranteed for him."
