Ḥadīth | Ṭabarānī (الطبراني) tabarani:2912 حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ أَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَنَا الثَّوْرِيُّ عَنْ سَالِمٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي حَفْصَةَ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ قَالَ شَهِدْتُ حُسَيْنًا ؓ حِينَ مَاتَ الْحَسَنُ ؓ وَهُوَ يَدْفَعُ فِي قَفَا سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْعَاصِ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ «§تَقَدَّمْ فَلَوْلَا أَنَّهَا السُّنَّةُ يَقُولُ الشَّيْبَةُ مَا قَدَّمْتُكَ» وَسَعِيدٌ أَمِيرٌ عَلَى الْمَدِينَةِ يَوْمَئِذٍ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Hazim said: I witnessed al-Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) when al-Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) died. He was pushing the back of Sa'id ibn al-'As forward, saying: "Go ahead! Were it not the Sunnah — meaning that the one with white hair (i.e., the elder or the governor) leads — I would not have put you forward." Sa'id was the governor of Madinah at that time.
