Al-Husayn ibn 'Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) concealed in his mind the word "smoke" (dukhan) for Ibn Sayyad and asked him what he had concealed. He replied: "Dukh" (an incomplete word). The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Be gone! You will never exceed your extent." When he turned away, the Prophet (peace be upon him) asked: "What did he say?" Some of them said "Dukh" and others said "Zukh." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "You have already differed while I am among you — you will differ even more after me."
